Shuma and Playtime

Shuma and little Bear and lots of playtime

Today Grandma and I sat on our beautiful seat there by the woods that Sadie had made for us and lazily watched the children at play it was such a restful and beautiful thing to see. They ran around spreading love and colours to each other in what seemed to be a magical music score.

Shuma and the little bear whom he had found in the woods caught our attention, they were playing chase and falling over, then they climbed up a large oak tree and fell out, rolling over and over in one big ball down the little slope to where the other children were laughing at them, they made the slope seem as if it was covered in tinsel paper. Rolling down, “rolly polly” the slope was covered in one large tinsel coloured trail where the two had just been.

As the children played, all the positive things would flow from them in colours it would be hard to imagine and in feelings of pure love as usual making their laughter a vision of being swamped with wave after wave of lovely emotions if only all people could feel these things then there would never be anything other than a deep, deep, peace.

But as we all know without the trials of life and being, there would be no growth of the spirit and this was what we are.
After Shuma had stopped rolling we sat looking for a while he seemed to pick up a beautiful rounder’s stick, it just seemed to be there as if it had always been. Shuma started playing rounder’s with Little Bear. We were joined by Sadie, I said “How does he hold on to that stick to hit the ball”?, she just smiled as always and said that Shuma could do anything it just needed a little thought. They carried on playing and the other children joined in with them full of laughter and joy, Sadie went on to say that there were lots of things to do and had only popped in to say a quick hello, which we both thanked her for and as she shimmered in her usual way we found ourselves walking up the garden path as if we had never left.

The very next day in the evening I, went into the garden to find a few flowers for the house and there with her little nose to the golden daffodils was a little girl and strange as it may seem she had a pair of beautiful little wings. “Hello!” I said and there flowing toward me was a golden colour from the Daffodils with a perfume to enhance its touch. By that I knew the little one was from Sadie. “I is Jessica” she said in a sing song voice “I is four, today it is my birthday, July 2nd, “I thought you would like to come and watch us play today, I sometimes come and see Sadie and the others and play for a while”

I called out to Grandma and told her that I would not be long and walked with Jessica to the gate, as it opened the seat was there ready for me to sit on.

Jessica told me her best playing friend was Little Bear, since Shuma had found him he had become a favourite with the children

He was a lovely young Black Bear with a beautiful white bib on his front and so cuddly, so I sat and watched them play.

Someone had put some swings on the grass area there and Jessica sat there while Shuma pushed her back and forth as if an upside down rainbow came from the swing as it flowed, but a little reddish dust came up from Jessica as she said that Shuma was pushing her to high, at this Shuma sat down in a bundle of fur so soft that the breeze rolled him away to the nearest tree where he seemed to fall asleep.

Jessica just rested as the swing slowed to her liking. A lovely young lady came toward me, as she did Grandma walked up to the seat, it was Pamela, Grandma’s sister, she had come to see her, so they went a little way away and sat talking on the grass, there between them the colours flowed making beautiful music that seemed to make a background of beauty to the whole area. Pamela was always near to Grandma but this gave them a chance to meet and talk of the times gone by I said to Jessica, Jessica said “That’s lovely”.

Jessica asked if I was looking after her, and I said I did sometimes when she drew near and she said how do you do that. “You only have to think and we are there with you”.

“I think therefore I am” very nice man said that once.

There’s lots of things to do on this plain Jessica retorted and opened her wings as if to say look I have these to look after, I smiled and sent her some love.

“I am in the physical world and that’s lots to do little one”

I expect it is hard as you have to control what you think here or it could become chaos, there will be too many things coming in at once.

That’s why we have Sadie here she sent out, as she keeps things at a lovely level and not over many things at once

Jessica said “Can you walk as I don’t have to walk” I said “Yes we have to walk as we are still on the earth plain” “Grandma walks, she walks all the while and she moans cause she’s so tired, only because she walks when she’s tired and she don’t stay still.”

“You telled her not to walk”, but she will argue as she always do. “You telled her!” Jessica said again “For her to rest more telled her!” “We love her so much as she is our Spirit Nana on the Earth plain”.

“Pamela is still talking to her she loves her so very much” I replied

“Yes she do, because she loves her and they are so close, close.” At this there was a shower well more of a storm of beauty in colours all over as Pamela got up and seemed to float away, Grandma took Granddads arm and they walked up the garden path for it was tea time.

It was a few days before we returned to the seat by the woods, not much had changed that we could see. There was little Jessica again, seeming a little agitated as she was talking about having to do the washing

“Must do the washing, washy washing, got to get everything done” she was saying making colours jump around us as she bobbed up and down.

I just had to say to her that everything was done and to rest with us a while, upon this she said “What do I do with my wings, I said that they were ok and she must talk to Sadie about them, but for the time being just to fold them up behind her, “I don’t know how to look after them” she said and coloured them a beautiful green. “They are behind you so let someone else look after them”

Where upon Jessica called Sadie over and asked her what to do her wings

Jessica laughs and said I not dooded Sadie’s wings she dunded mine so it’s alright

I not do her wings I don’t know who dooded hers she went on with her little laugh with its colours flowing over the ground

Sadie started to talk about Jessica and l was laughing at her for not being able to do things

I was feeling a little tired and said that it was time for them to rest knowing that they never needed rest but that I was probably getting a little tired and wanted to nod off

Sadie said “Got to go” you know that Sadie loves you both knowing that it was us that needed the rest,

I will as always give you both healing.

“Night, Night”, I said, but Sadie said she didn’t have any night as all things were the same, sending us a rainbow of gentle thoughts. The gate opened and we walked up to the cottage.
